Had a late carvery at The Victoria today. We had booked for 3-30pm as aware that it was due to finish at 4pm to 4-30pm and concerned enough food was still on offer. We were assured that there would be as knew we were coming. As usual the welcome and service was great. We had the choice of four meats and a good selection of vegetables that weren't stewed, nice Yorkshire pudding, various sauces and thick tasty gravy. For £11-95 each my wife and I think it's good value and the friendliness of all the staff and their great service means we will return soon. The a la carte menu looks great also and the 3 course Valentine's night at £39-95 per couple has to be a gift! xx
Great pub excellent Sunday carvery even asked if we wanted it bringing to us sat in the lounge. . My partner could not eat it all so even gave us it to takeaway what she could not eat. Staff so polite and friendly couldn't do enough for us will definitely be returning also dog friendly
Great value for money food and drink. Food is both good quality and generous portion size. I'm really fussy with fried eggs and asked for them well done, not a problem. Convenient for Hornsea Town centre and then a stroll on the prom. We are not local but will certainly be back.
We booked a table for 8 people at 6.00pm on a Saturday. One person wanted chicken sizzler but was informed they had no chicken..she ended up with a plate of chips. Another person wanted seafood platter but was informed they had no scallops. They got a few prawns as a substitute. Food when it arrived was ok but we were very disappointed. Won't be going again
Loved the meal, huge portions, chicken was crispy skin, moist meat. Loved the salad, with lots of fruit. Sides , chips and onion rings Staff went out of their way to accommodate. Brilliant will be returning xx
