Came for a drink and a bite on my own as staying at a nearby hotel and needed to get out. I was welcomed by the nice smart lady at the bar, reassured re several vegan food options and chose a delicious vgn gnocchi. A tad pricey but quality and would return here next time staying nearby
Treated some people to Xmas lunch and the team pulled off lunch for 8 in a good fashion. The pub was decorated all festive, the team kept us loaded with drinks and the food all came out together and tasted amazing. Really happy with everything and it was amazing!
We couldn't have asked for more! From start to finish Kate and her wonderful team organised our wedding after party with care, kindness and professionalism. We must have had almost 200 guests turn up and the staff managed every aspect without a hitch. The food was delicious and my dustbin bag full of balloons and decorations was skillfully and artfully transformed into a fabulous backdrop for our celebration. It was certainly the perfect choice and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the pub and the team for any celebration you are planning. All at a great price!! Thank you so much team Unthank!
We held our wedding reception at the Unthank Arms in August ‘23 and it was great. Such a great space to accommodate adults and children. We had intended to use the outside space but it chucked it down all day, but the staff were brilliant - making sure that indoors was arranged to accommodate all the children and guests and the enclosed outdoor space could be screened off for even more space. The food was great and the staff were so helpful. One of the bar staff even drove my friend and her young daughter home at the end of the night because the taxis in Norwich are unreliable (Uber, you are needed here!). Couldn’t recommend it enough, and a great partner venue to the Flint Room which is an amazing wedding venue.
We held our wedding reception upstairs in the Unthank Arms and we had such an amazing time. Ben and his team were so friendly and went out of their way to help us. They were quick to respond to emails when we were planning and made the whole process feel very easy. We felt like we were in very capable hands and it really showed on the day. Our guests loved the food which came out on time without a hitch, the bar staff were lovely and everything just ran so smoothly from start to finish. Nothing was too much trouble and they were really relaxed about us putting up decorations. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend The Unthank Arms for any event, they were brilliant. Thank you!
