Rang up an hour before to book a Sunday lunch as not visited the pub before. Nice atmosphere, varied customers from familys to couples ...Good ambiance and the food was worth every penny.Lots of staff available to help and all looking like they enjoyed working there,would highly recommend and will be going back for food :-)

Though we live local it was our first visit.....it will not be the last, the service was very good, a good choice of food on the menu. The food was excellent and plentiful, I had the home made meat pie my Wife had the home made cheese and onion pie both excellent. Very friendly staff. We will definitely be back

Quite nice, I ordered the halloumi fries and chips I wish I got more halloumi fries though. But they were very good I will definitely be coming back.

Great food Great atmosphere Usually plenty of staff around but can be very slow service. Note: if you want to eat here you really need to book a table, especially Sunday afternoon/ tea time. Please check times of food service! Overall a great pub with really good food

This is what I call a proper pub staff are friendly and can't do enough for you the food is fantastic and the drinks. Are reasonably priced p.s proper chips not cheap frozen ones highly recommend.
