Quite possibly the worst meal I’ve ever had, arrived with my wife and mother in law the place was cold, no heating what so ever. We all had the roast beef Sunday dinner which must have come straight from the freezer and of low quality. Mother in law had coffee just to warm up but again must have forgot to put the coffee in. Don’t normally leave reviews but on this occasion made the effort. Needless to say we won’t be visiting this place again.

It was my first and sadly last visit. Booked it for a special birthday!! The food was unbelievably awful, 3 had a Sunday dinner, was clearly microwaved, parts of the food were really dry and hard so was inedible, the worst roasties, stuffing, veg, and meat we've all had. The chicken ham pie, again microwaved, pastry, soft and soggy, the filling was very nice though. The desserts were nice at least. The place was empty and the server kept forgetting to come back to take our order.

My group of ladies go here once a month for lunch and a Tribute act. Can be up to 20 going. John the manager is most accomodating. In summer it can be very pleasant sitting outside and in winter its moved inside. Usually there from 12.30pm. Act starts at 2pm and all done for 4pm

I took my mum here last night after her radiotherapy session to keep her spirits up. I had no idea that The Unicorn really had a magic about the place. Hannah recognised my mum from just one previous visit and came rushing out to give her the warmest hug and made her the most incredible drink of water mixed with fruits (my mum is off her food, but this drink she lapped up). Hannah then went about organising some of the celebs that were in that night to come and have their photo taken with my mum, which they obliged with full enthusiasm and kudos to these guys for taking the time out of their evening to blast a massive bolt of joy at my mum. The real stars though were Hannah and Molly who showed us real magic of human kindness. This is no ordinary place!

Great pub with a huge beer garden half of it covered . Food is lovely. Proper pub grub at a great price. Two full size meals from the pub classic menu for £14.69. Makes a change from the overpriced Wilmslow centre eateries. Fantastic value for money. Friendly and helpful staff. They even have monthly tribute band afternoons on a Wednesday for £13.50 including a meal. Not been to one yet but I'll be giving it a go. Well recommended 👍👍
