Normally Champs was an amazing vibrant sports bar but recently they have massively changed, notably in the attitude of bouncers. This incident happened this weekend with me being randomly aggressively pushed out without reason and when asked no response just pushed not even asked to move. Then when I was outside I was again aggressively pushed by a Bouncer when politely asking why the first Bouncer had took such aggression
I rased an issue in champs stating that a member of staff came across as condersending towards me. I come back some day later that member of staff is serving me a pint and she speaking in an combative manner she say " I am nice everyone like me how dare you complain" After this I rased the issue with management at first they said there was no female member of staff. What I am told by management changes they say there is female member of staff but it was out of character
Old and worn needs refurbishment. The carpet was really sticky and the table we sat at was very wobbly. Food was edible (just). Won't be going again
I'd like to personally thank Champs for their warm and friendly service over the many years I have been coming as a customer. It's one of the best places to go in Loughborough and you can always expect a brilliant and lively atmosphere at any day of the week and any time of the day. I'd also like to add a comment about their food which is Freshly made to perfection and is a brilliant accompaniment to your cold and decently priced beverage. The staff are always great even under pressure and I couldn't recommend it coming more.
Can't recommend this place enough. Staff are so friendly Food is amazing and such a fair price Good choice of cocktails And Thier DJ on a Friday night is pretty fit😜 but seriously he knows how to get a party started
