It's leftover primary school food warmed up in a microwave. Our food was poor, freezing cold buns on a hot burger, dry and stale chips and a dry and stale pie. The starter was like having yesterdays left over takeaway chips microwaved for 3 minutes. For some odd reason they brought the starter and one main together instead of the starter first then the mains. So I had to eat the starter while my friend had his main. Then he had to watch me eat my main... I've added a picture of my pie, chips and peas. (the pie tasted good) Deserts took 31 minutes to come and when they did they were missing ingredients which I had to chase for. It's primary school food warmed up in a microwave. Our whole experience was poor and we've decided not to come back. It was my first time here and It was as bad as I make it out to be. If Universal Credit was a pub chain this is it.
Took kids to get out the house over the Christmas. Quick service but portions are a bit on the skimpy size. Soft play was good for 6yo but my daughter, who is 12 is now too big for the soft play. There were a lot of families just letting the children run in without paying. It's £4.50 for soft play so not too bad. Took 2 attempts to try and ring to book as I was enquiring that the soft play would be open when we went. They sometimes have private parties so best to check first.
Acquired the stack burger. However i was very disappointed when it was placed in front me and looked nothing like the picture. However still tastes nice and i am aware that the pictures in the menu are always too good to be true but it was very unrealistic. My grandmother got the carvery which was “very nice” but the sprouts had been frozen and were not up to her expectation. Even still, i would return despite this.
Overall the experience was good. The wait for food wasn't too bad. Around 4 minutes ..trust me compared to the 50 minutes in a queue at The Toby. This wasn't a problem at all. The food was tasty and the cost wasn't extreme.
9.9 out of 10. Bit slow. But it was easily resolved. Amazing staff and manager. I'm going back for the Sunday carvery. Lush food. And unlimited fizzy pop for 3.19
