Deceptively large village local it goes back quite some way and note the very impressive huge half moon pub sign. Besides the decent sized public bar well used by local drinkers there is also a separate pool room, restaurant and big patio at the rear that is used for summer barbecues.

The new tenants are doing a great job trying to bring this bar back to it's best. A smashing welcome and good beer.
Love the Half Moon. Cracking atmosphere, with a landlord (Mark) who's doing absolutely everything to make something of the place, and look after his customers. Always a good welcome, fast service, and plenty of things on through the week for people to enjoy.
New tenants have got this place buzzing again. Music, karaoke, quiz nights, nearly always something happening. Very friendly.
Stopped by for a "swift half" - really nice pub, friendly staff and great atmosphere. Nice beer garden and a good pint.
