Situated within the Druid Park Sports Complex, Thumpas provides a secluded environment for families to enjoy food and drink at competitive prices. The owners pride themselves on the quality of the beer and their home cooked food.
Within the bar there is a billiard table and darts board, as well as all Sky and BT Sports Live on the TV’s.
A function room is available (free hire) for all types of events for up to 100 people, with catering optionally done by yourself or provided from our kitchen.
Kids parties can also book a pitch at Druid Park for a sports orientated event.

Great club bar on site just perfect for an afternoon of American football
Great pitch just a wet day, but loved watching my son play some great football
Lovely small community ground with good facilities and great place to watch planes coming into land at Newcastle Airport, if you enjoy this past time. Parking is limited but was more than adequate for the players and supporters of the charity football match.
We had our daughters 18th birthday party here on Saturday and it was absolutely amazing. Suzie and the team were in hand to help with every detail and we’re brilliant on the night! Highly recommend this place, we will definitely be coming here more often :)
We use the pitch and bar area on a regular basis and can't recommend it enough. The facility's are spot on and all the regulars and staff are so friendly. Keep up the great work Thumpas !
