We have a fantastic range of real ales, draught lagers and an extensive range of bottled beers and ciders from around the globe. The main bar is L-shaped and we have a little room, nicknamed 'the snug', off to the side. The snug becomes Tilleys' Cinema in the evenings and sometimes through the day on weekends where we showcase films from our ever expanding DVD library. All films are free to come and watch and you can even hire the room for your own film screenings or private function, also free of charge. Ace!.

Always amazing. Remember when it was a cheese and pate bar. We moved away and 25 ago and whenever we are back in the toon we have to go there. The beer is always amazing with superb choices and rare beers. The staff are so welcoming. Just great.
I've visited this bar many times and will continue to do so. My favourite real ale, Titanic Plum Porter was being served, so had to call in. Great bar, great staff and well kept real ales. Highly recommended!
This bar is a hidden gem. I've passed by many times and happenstance dictated that i went in. I can't judge too much as I only stopped in for a quick couple. I didn't have any food other than some warm pork scratchings. Which were delicious by the way! Atmosphere, was really calm and chilled for a busy central bar, which was refreshing for a busy Saturday afternoon. The beer selection is phenomenal, ales galore. A quick couple for me quickly became a conundrum but I managed to settle for a brown ale (can't quite remember the brewery as there was so many!) But that was a lovely problem to have, and the beer top notch. Next time, I'm staying, and trying all of them!!! Maybe some proper food too.
Nice pub. A good few years since I was last in, but as good as I remembered it. Great value on drinks too 🥰
