Barman hadn't a clue how to pour a pint of Guinness. Glass was half head and then he continued over pouring/filling to rectify the state of it. He gave up, put it on the bar for me. I told him I'm not drinking that! Then I walked out, never to return. There is an etiquette to pouring Guinness (not rocket science). That however, was the worst and most strange pour I've ever seen! Glad I hadn't paid for it before I watched that atrocity! 🫣😳
I don't understand why they've taken out all of the seating booths from next to the windows. That was the best part about this place!
Not the place it used to be, at all. Had to scramble just to get one chair between the two of us (we literally sat at a table that only had one chair), the booths which made the place great in the past for people watching and soaking in lovely views are gone. Wasn't enough bar staff on when I visited which meant the poor servers were completely rushed off their feet. Just quite dark and dingy and feels run down, not what it has the potential to be with a bit of TLC.
OMG this place must be the slowest service EVER looks good with the tables outside but don’t come here if you’re thirsty!! One drink took long enough the second even longer. Gave up and went to Banyan next door.
Visited yesterday 5/11/19 the place was in need of a makeover and a clean. The chairs wouldn't take much effort to wash down.
