First timer, good little social club for a chilled one after work. Reasonable priced and old time feel to the place. I'd just update the place a little because I felt like I was travelling through a vortex to the 80's. Spruce it up a little.
Nice place, nice staff… except one waiter, rude and awful. He invited us to leave on saturday night at 22:15, with pub full of people, our friends inside and people ordering drink, just because he was in a bad mood.
Nice enough place for a beer, good selection and friendly service, at fair prices. Somewhat dated, and a cramped layout. They do have a pool table though!
Brilliant local pub with extremely competitive prices, friendly and entertaining staff with free pool and a free dart board (bring your own darts). St T's always provides classic pints on draught such as John Smiths, Carling, Madri, Guiness and Staropramen as well as supporting local Newcastle craft breweries including Two by Two and Anarchy brewery. It's a small but cosy pub where people of all ages and identities can enjoy cheap drinks with a jukebox. The Cath is an amazing representation of Newcastle and holds the spirit of the city in its historic building, it's also dog friendly and is infamous for its £2.50 pint of Sam Smiths.
Really a nice surprise! I heard recently about the refurb and good quality beers but I was really pleasantly surprised by how nice it is. The sofas were so comfortable I nearly fell asleep. Really good gin and beer selections with local ones taking pride of place. Give it a try, you will not regret it!
