About Us
South Gosforth Sports & Social Club is just positioned on South Gosforth bank, opposite South Gosforth Metro Station.
The Club Has a Lounge area where we have a regular singer/performer on a Sunday night. The lounge is also available for hire through the day for small gatherings, christening, parties etc. Also regular bingo nights with cash prizes and a quiz night on a Wednesday.
The Sports bar area has plenty of seating, also dart boards where regular leagues and tournaments are held, also a pool table and juke box. Also there are multiple flat screen TV's in the lounge and bar where live Sky sports events are shown.
We also have a Staged Function room with a dance floor and its own bar, which is available for hire. This room will hold up to 180 people with a small dance floor. Please contact the club for more details for costs and availability.

The staff are friendly and helpful with a good range of drinks available. Well recommended.
Very friendly local club. Large function room on the ground floor with easy disabled access from outside and to the toilets. There is disabled access from outside to the bar, but steps to the toilets from the bar. Check bar opening hours. Might be closed during quiet times.
Me and my wife have just had our wedding and choose south gosforth social club as our venue, we had the best day of our life's. We can't thank Paul and the whole staff enough all we can both say is thank you for being apart of our wedding and making it such a wonderful day to remember for the rest of our life's together. We will be back again.
I had a very pleasant evening meeting old friends. I haven't been to the club for over a year due to ill health and hospital treatment but it was worthwhile. I hope the club goes from strength to strength.
A great club if you are looking for a venue for a party they also get some good act's on at the weekend. The club could do with a bit of an update but this doesn't spoil the charm and atmosphere good choice of drinks and pleasant staff
