The Malting House is a delightfully cosy pub sat on the outskirts of Gateshead town centre. The Malting is packed full of charm and character, with Felling’s best-kept-secret beer garden at the rear. With big screen TVs showing the best sporting events and live entertainment at the weekend, the Malting House offers something for everybody.
Once you set eyes on our original exterior you will drawn into the Malting House and you will find an equally as pleasing interior. If you wander towards the back of the pub you will arrive at the small and cosy beer garden that doubles as a sun trap on those warm, summer days. Even though we are a small pub will still have space for classic pub features, offering a great variety of beer, pool and plenty of pub entertainment.

A pub which could have a lot going for it but sadly stuck in the 1980's.
Most welcome, friendly, and family pub is now under new management with John and Geri, a visit is well worth it, just call in and see for yourselves, Sunday lunch is a must and drinks are cheap
