About us

After-work drinks, dinner with friends, or a catch up over a cup of coffee; whatever the purpose of your visit to The Bridge Lounge, you're guaranteed a warm welcome and great quality. Formerly a traditional docklands-boozer serving the 'Larder of London' in the 1940's, we honour our heritage with a menu made up of classic British dishes alongside a carefully curated selection of craft beers and wines. Our ingredients are locally sourced from the likes of Borough Market, Monmouth Coffee and the Franconian Sausage Co.

The upstairs bar and dining area can accommodate up to 70 people and is available for hire at no extra cost. Whether it's a corporate party or a christening, our friendly and experienced staff are on hand to help you plan the perfect event.

The place is really nice but more importantly the staff is amazing, especially Gabriel who puts a lot of passion in their work and make customers feel at home. I wish this pub all the best and definitely recommend anyone visiting to try some local ales and also speak to bar staff for something unusual..!!!!

Really friendly staff, small and quiet (4pm). Had dinner here. 5 small plates, a kids meal deal, 1 juice, 2 cokes and a pint of guiness under £55. For 4 people next to Tower Bridge that's great value. Highly recommend the gun powder tots!

I've been here many times over the past 10 years, it's a good pub. This week I revisited it once more. The service and pub were both as expected but the toilets were awful. Urinals were closed off and flooded, the toilet cubicle also had no seat, and the door wouldn't lock. Not great. Could do better.

Good upstairs music venue for the open mic, would be even better if the bar upstairs was manned, overall a good place close to the City centre for a few beers.

Decided to stop here for a nice Sunday roast , was advised that only roast chicken was on the menu waited quite a while for the meals to come out and when they did they were cold and lacking in roast potatoes , when I asked where the roast potatoes were I was told they had run out ??? No mention of running out of roasts was mentioned , Shantelle took out meals back to reheat and apologised , the meals came back and were hot but had only been reheated in a microwave so the gravy was completely dry and sticky , new gravy was ordered but by the time it came out my husband had eaten his meal out of hunger but I just couldn't eat it as it was still very dry , Shantelle said she would get the manager 😀 he (Warren) came out and clearly had no idea how to speak to customers or staff members as he was extremely rude and refused to refund us as my husband had eaten his , I explained that my meal was inedible but he still would not budge and told Shantelle to " stay out of it " in a really aggressive manner , we were all shocked that he had spoken to a member of staff like this , he then ran off and wasn't seen again even though another member of staff went to try and find him , Do not have a meal here unless you want to throw your money away . I have posted a picture of my meal which really wasn't worth £13 at all .
