A nice region, neighborly pub, where it seemed like most of the patrons were regulars. They had a cider on tap, which is always appreciated.
A pub. A real pub! No food going on, no kids running loose. Just a pub. That's pretty old school 😂 Friendly and quick service, fair prices, and a cosy environment.
A quaint, Victorian dining room style, London corner pub. Bigger than most, without losing personality. Retained vintage decorative features, notably the patterned wall headers. Very clean and one of the most organised bars I can recall, there's pride in this pub. Good mixed of vintage furniture, especially the large wood framed bench sofas. A good selection of beer on tap and well stocked bar. Great rock and 60's sounds. A pub for catching up on the chat in groups.
Not busy, not loud, not exciting, not big, not small. A pub.
A brilliant little pub sitting close to the Barbican. Good beer, both on keg and cask. Lovely staff with great service. A good place for a pint.
