We are a proper pub. No gimmicks just good people, good atmosphere, good drinks and good food. We have no dress code and want our customers to feel relaxed and at home with us.
We also have a function room with its own bar which we hire out for all occasions from business meetings to weddings to birthday parties.
Mike and Tina have run pubs for over 30 years and it shows. They love what they do and do it very well. If you haven't found us yet pop in and give us a try....you never know you just might like us!.

The temperature was a little low. Understanding but I would of liked it a little warmer. Hot dog's were great. An Amber Ale was the darkest beer available apart from Guinness.
We hired their function room The Malt Room for my wife’s 50th birthday Dani was great from start to finish and made sure the day went without a hitch! We ordered the deluxe buffet and the food was superb Highly recommend this venue and pub, a thoroughly enjoyable experience :)
Second visit, but first with my best mate !. He wanted to go here !. I did warn him that on my previous visit they had no ales or any sigh of hand pull pumps !. (This was the case !). They did have craft ales on (2) .But at £6.50 we will not be making a return visit any time soon ,!.
Good venue, comfortable seating throughout, only keg beers, but a decent lineup. They have a piano in the lounge area, with space to host music. The outside area is also popular.
After my recent visit, The Two Brewers is, without doubt, my new favourite pub in Chemlsford. I was treated like an old friend from the moment I stepped through the door and whilst I visited other establishments during my visit to the town none matched the welcome I received at the Two Brewers. I ate several meals here and, as others have mentioned, the food is really good. They also have a good selection of drinks, with the options for spirits being particularly impressive. A lot of thought obviously goes into everything they are doing, and speaking to the manager it was clear that they have ambitions to further improve the whole experience. Overall, highly recommended.
