About us

Imagine a traditional stone farmstead with a cosy, comfortable feel and the atmosphere of a genuine local village pub.

Then, imagine it offers one of the best ranges of cask ales in the area, an extensive wine list, a delicious selection of classic British dishes from an ever-changing menu, and fabulous puddings from the Café Royal Bakery.

You’ve just imagined Twin Farms. Located close to Newcastle Airport, where the city of Newcastle meets rural Northumberland, it’s easily reached by car or Metro and people often travel far just to visit.

With a cobbled yard, a country garden, a sun-drenched patio, and a modern interior to enjoy, it’s a contemporary pub with a real country experience all rolled into one.

In other words, it really does offer the best of everything.

Met with friends for lunch, staff were great on arrival and superb during service, real credit to the establishment. Food was first rate, everyone enjoyed their meal and the price was fantastic value for money, would definitely recommend and definitely go back.

Cute pub/restaurant, plenty of parking and good service staff. However, food was average and most dishes were little dry.. they were well presented.. unfortunately didn’t taste as good as it looked. Pricing is also at the top end of what pub foods should be and overlapping into decent restaurant territory.

Nice stony building with open fire, fine restaurant and ale house. Nice location just a few steps from the metro station. Large outdoor garden with wooden benches is kids friendly. They have excellent menu selection including variety of steaks and some seafood as well. My son's fish and chips were truly extralarge :-) Real craft ales samples on tap!

Quiet meal during the week, after booking a table online. Food was tasty, (but liver was tastier the first time we went). Desserts were delicious too. Service was quick, both fed and watered within an hour. Atmosphere was quiet, but at least we could hear each other talking. Will be back again.
