The Turf welcomes friends old and new! Good beer, bar snacks, live bigscreen sport, pool, darts, dominoes and card games, smoking shelter and patio.
The Turf is recently re-opened following a brief closure, family run pub with a broad appeal that welcomes young and old alike.
Comprising of a traditional and well used bar with large screen TV; a lounge with big screen TV; tap room with dart board and facilities for dominoes and card games; dedicated pool room; outside smoking area and patio; everyone will find what they want here at the Turf!
Our range of brand leading beers and lagers includes John Smiths Extra Smooth, Carling, Guinness and Stella, backed up with a range of bottled drinks, including WKD, Smirnoff Ice, Desperado and Kopparberg. We offer a wide range of shot drinks from Aftershock to Sourz and Jagermeister to Sambucca. Our alcohol free choice is Becks Blue.
A wide range of traditional bar snacks is available, crisps, peanuts, scratchings, pretzel pieces and the old faithful Ploughmans Lunch, supported by Big Al's flame grilled burgers. We can offer free use of our lounge for those who might be celebrating a special occasion, and will provide entertainment and buffet style food too. Just ask at the bar.
Friday and Saturday nights feature karaoke, hosted by D.J. Scotty, and look out for special theme nights held each month. On Sundays evenings, live entertainment is on offer, please enquire at the bar to see who is on this week.
Premier League football; Rugby; Cricket; F1 racing; Championship Football, World Cup Qualifiers - what ever the sport, be it a cup match or a friendly, a local derby or an international, if it can be shown on TV it will be shown at The Turf!
