We didn't have food. This is a pub for locals but we were made very welcome. It had a big screen showing sport but that didn't detract from the welcoming atmosphere.
Excellent pub. Especially for watching the football. Friendly staff. Always make you welcome.
Great traditional pub, good value for money l, friendly staff and a traditional home cooked Sunday lunch that's very good value for money.
Race the train! Went up with a large group and all headed to pub early. We have two small children who need to eat. They didnt do food so searched everywhere for some and took it back to pub with us for them to eat in a quite corner while 30 of us played pool and had a lovely time.....but no! We were told they couldnt eat in there........ I mean come on!! They are children and it wasnt hurting anyone. What a warm welcome
Pool table, darts, jukebox & excellent staff. Good atmosphere, good local people full of advice etc about the local area. The pub itself is very welcoming with a pool table & darts. Recommended to all 10/10
