What a fun night, and a fun pub. The food is great, the choices are many and when served the food was piping hot, amd there was plenty of it ! The drinks (and food) are very well priced, and there are always good offers to be had if pennies are tight. We were there in a quiz night and what a brilliant, fun quiz it was, varied rounds and good laughs had. The staff are always really welcoming and pleasant here, they'll always stop for a quick chat if they can do so. We had a great night, really enjoyed it. Well done to the team there.

Christmas day dinner - The staff were doing their best, but they seemed really short of a few team members. We got their early to ensure we could be seated promptly. However, we had to wait 30 minutes, as they couldn't clear the previous sitting. Once seated, our starters arrived 15/20 minutes later, as expected for a big table. Once cleared, the mains arrived 20 minutes later, with no cutlery. Staff then chased around for knives and forks, some arrived clean, some dirty. But that unfortunate main course was so very poor, I had the crispy, burnt rib/beef (as all 5 were the same), jelly like gravy that had to be spooned out the pot, and 3 roast potatoes. Thankfully, the trio desert was nice, but not nice enough for me to return and eat here.

We came here for a dinner and the place was lovely. Customer service was okay and foods did not taste good. We ordered steak and it tasted bland

The food was excellent and a family friendly atmosphere, the only nitpicking was we had to wait abit longer for the food and as it is summer ( June ) the whole place was roasting hot. It looks like they are short of staff but they managed to work with the staff they have. Staff were friendly and helpful. Will be going there again

My friend lived in the area and recommended we go to this pub as he had a fantastic time when he went recently. I thought it was friendly and inviting. I ordered the Caribbean style jerk chicken skewers with chips (£10.99). It was good but a bit oily. He ordered the Dopsu no beef burger (vegan, £9.49). He said it was really good. There was some live performances in the karaoke portion of the evening. My friend got up and did a duet with one of his work colleagues. This is a nice local pub!
