Was able to watch the Newcastle match in the week. Then we enjoyed a beautiful Sunday lunch at a very reasonable price 😋 pub also had a lovely atmosphere 🍻
Friendly atmosphere, always a good laugh and service with a smile and normally a lot of good laughs and banter. I've been going for 30yrs (not always for beer as I'm only 41 lol) started going to play pool with my mates as a young kid and I still go there now and always will. Its like a family run pub, I've known the landlady all her life and her mam (who used to run it when I was younger) great place I highly recommend the traveller's rest in Choppington 100%. 5 star. They also do lovely food, I love my Sunday dinner from there with the whole family
