An overall brilliant service as always. Food was very tasty,another large plate for myself. My mum was very pleased with food also,and the fact that a steak knife was provided by staff to assist with her meal as she has Parkinson's and sometimes struggles. Another lovely experience at the Trading Post 👍
The carvery is always great, we receive friendly service and good value for money making the Trading Post an excellent choice for a cooked meal that has been freshly prepared for us to enjoy. I would recommend it it to other and they will not be disappointed. On a cold winter's day it was warm and inviting to dine at the Trading post. No washing up either is a bonus and a lovely treat to have a roast meal served quickly and efficiently. No complaints! a small luxury I would say to be savoured.

The last time we contacted you was to complain about a very unexpected downward change in quality. You asked us to come back and we did yesterday. The quality had returned to your expected high quality. THANK YOU! We plan to continue to return. If I had one complaint it would be that the beef on the carvery was a bit tough but all the other meat was very tender So thank you for a very good meal. I would rate you 9 out of 10. The 1 point deduction was due to beef. It is a minor point A friend invited us to attend a rival and you were infinitely better. Thank you!
On entering a sign showed 'find your own table', but all tables were marked as reserved, so we returned to the entrance to be told the sign was wrong and we should have booked, without a booking the wait would be 45 minutes The restaurant was less than half full We were seated 20 minutes later The food was fine We asked the hostess for a tea spoon for our toddler,as she was the closest member of staff She had a social chat with the table next to us and cleared tables but never made any effort to collect or request a spoon for us It's the little things and I found her lack of consideration beyond rude She should be leading by example as the front of house person
