Situated just 10 minutes walk from Old Trafford Football Ground and only 5 minutes walk to the Cricket Ground, The Tollgate is a large Marston’s pub which has enjoyed a recent refurbishment.
It is the ultimate pre-match pub, bustling with fans and a friendly atmosphere.
The Tollgate is directly opposite Trafford Bar Metrolink station and is packed on match days with mainly United fans wanting a pre-match pint and a burger from the BBQ for every home game.
The large open pub boasts a pool table, dart board and TV’s showing the latest sports whilst there's also a large seating area at the front of the pub and a huge car park.
Traditional pub food is available daily, with Fish & Chips, Rump Steak. and Sausage & Mash proving to be favourites.
Being a Marstons pub, the Tollgate has a large selection of cask ales to choose from with EPA being the house bitter, inviting you to be a frequent visitor.

Don't serve food such a shame been in here quite few times nice pub
It's a fine pub if you're nearby. The atmosphere is generally OK on non-match days for a pub that mainly serves the football crowd. There is a lack of hand pumps for ales sadly.
Called in here after getting off tram as staying near by. It was welcoming and we enjoyed our evening here
went there during man united playing at home. Lovely atmosphere. Nice 🍔 and drinks. Friendly staff. Looking forward to my next visit. Next time my team are playing. Come on you reds.
A must prematch. Sure there are other places but this is a proper sing song so if you want to learn a few new ones, go here. Beer is decently priced, nothing silly. Washrooms are a bit rough but what do you expect.
