The Tollemache is a traditional pub, part of a row of terraced houses and is a true gem. You will find a pleasant and friendly atmosphere and a pub where the art of conversation is widely practised.

Great place with very friendly and helpful staff. They have a quiz night on Wednesday and they sell Neck Oil
Nice little boozer (as they say). A good selection of beers, wines and spirits. Live sport shown if that’s your thing. An excellent quiz every week (Wednesday) and put together, with love by the host. A decent sized car park directly opposite but the train station at Mossley is close by as is the bus stop so leave the car at home and treat yourself to a drink in clean, comfy surroundings.
Very welcoming landlord great beer and a lovely building. Worth sitting in the beer garden and you may see a lesser spotted narrow boat pull up. Highly recommended.
