Love Tokyo tea rooms, great atmosphere especially on a Facedown or indie rock night! All the staff are lovely, all staff included, and the drinks are great value. Always receive the best service from my favourite bartender, Cerys
I went to Tokyo Tearooms a few weeks ago with friends and we loved the place. Our bar service was fast, efficient, and friendly, as we were served by Cerys - she was attentive with our orders and friendly, and made great drinks. She is a credit to your staff and she really heightened our experience that night. Will definitely be returning soon :)
Can't get enough of this place! Every night out here is a good night out! Super helpful staff, always love the music and all the drinks are a very good price. Would 100% recommend to anyone looking for a great night out
Went here on Saturday night with my mates, left my coat inside and they wouldn't let me back in the venue and the doorman started getting very aggressive, and now I have to wait a week to travel back to Canterbury to get my jacket back, the 2 door staff refused to get me contact information so I had to ring the venue to arrange to get my hoodie back. Overall bar staff was very nice however the night was ruined by a member of staff who used his authority to boost his ego.
Had a fantastic time there last Saturday. The Main two door staff Darius who is always dressed so smart and "assertive". Mark who I believe is the Head doorman, always professional and polite, considering how long the Que was did a great job filtering people through as quickly as possible. once inside the venue was absolutely heaving and the atmosphere was electric. The bar staff where always quick to serve us, always smiling, nothing was a problem for them. Tokyo is and always will be our favorite go to place in Canterbury because of the reasons stated above. Thanks Team and see you again soon.
