I’ve never eaten a more beige, bland or dry meal. Service was average, many items on the menu weren’t available and waited a god awful amount of time for a drink and the cheque considered I was a table of one and the place is buffet style. The roast meat was dry with no amount of gravy penetrating the crust and the lack of sides available was appalling. People were free to skip the line and jump ahead, diminishing what little sides were there to begin with. All of this after queuing up for 20 minutes was incredibly lack lustre. The only saving grace was the Yorkshire pudding, have an extra star.
Parking was good, although they didn’t have a charging point for the car. Service was really slow when we arrived but one staff member was great and looked after us. Bed was really hard but some people like hard mattresses. Everything else was great. Good location for visiting Windsor
Staff were friendly. There was nothing available on the menu we wanted. Celebrating my birthday couldn't have cocktails as no ingredients to make them. Even the soda fountain was empty of more than 50% of the options. My father was given the wrong sandwich order (as there were no Yorkshires for a wrap!!!.). But he was originally charged for the ultimate beef (no Yorkshire. No pig in blanket. No gravy) we originally assumed it was owing to the lack of options available. We did not stop for pudding. To frightened to ask for anything else!!! Luckily I had a nice big Birthday cake at home. Will we be returning any time soon? Definitely not.
A lovely meal, in fairness the food could have been a little warmer but it was delicious nonetheless. Our server (Lisa R) was definitely the star of the show! Friendly and chatty, we couldn’t have asked for any more. Well worth the 5 stars!
Hostess was lovely, chef was really nice, food was fantastic, but hearing your waitresses complaining about their jobs, complaining about the patrons, not so subtly moaning about us still being sat at our table, then asking our party of four to move from the seated area (we had just hit the 2hr mark, I'm chronically disabled and the seven year old child with us was in the toilet after just finishing her dessert - as soon as she had come back from the toilets we were going to be leaving) is NOT acceptable. Was going to speak to the manager about it, but he was so busy running around that I didn't want to waste his time. One of us is a Michelin level chef, and he was disgusted by the waitresses' behaviour. Again, lovely food, and the non-waiting staff were fantastic. Waitresses, either learn customer service or just get a different job...
