Was a really laid back and calm atmosphere, and not too busy due to the fact that it's booking only and no walk-ins. Very reasonable, £15 for adult carvery. Food was great and service was spot on. Definitely recommend it here if you like a carvery but don't like crazy busy places.
Fabulous lunch, very busy but great atmosphere and friendly staff especially our server Denise. Very busy but a smile and kind word for all her customers. Nothing was too much trouble and although exceptionally busy she remained calm and in control! Denise even gave us a raffle ticket for a free meal 😀 # 23 We thoroughly enjoyed our meal, plenty of choice and all tasty!! Will definitely visit again soon. Had a very nice carvery today in Whitchurch .We had a very warm reception on arrival. The carvery had a good variety of meat and vegetables and was hot and tasty. Our server Denise was very attentive and polite. The meal was very reasonably priced as there was a promotion on that day. Overall a very enjoyable experience. (21)Raffle number
I recently visited this restaurant and unfortunately, the experience left much to be desired. The establishment was quite busy, which is understandable, but the lack of structure in the queue and service was noticeable. People were pushing in, disrupting the flow, and it made for a less-than-pleasant dining atmosphere. The food, while edible, did not live up to the expectations considering the price. The overall dining experience fell short of what I would have hoped for. I recommend improvements in queue management and service organization to enhance customer satisfaction.
The staff were great all immensely friendly and helpful. Our table was ready for us on arrival. Our server was attentive although seemed rushed off his feet. The food was good. Although my began daughter had issues with her meal. It took a long time to come even though we ordered it way before we went up for our carvery. Then there was no began gravy. This came out 15 mins after she had plated up her food which was now cold and the gravy was grainy. The staff were great about it when I discussed the issue and removed her food from our bill. When paying the cracker treat vouchers did not work and the final bill was higher than it should've been because we ordered desserts based on them being a pound and this was not calculated at the end of the meal correctly due to the voucher not scanning.
