Had a great Sunday Dinner after a walk around Barnes Park. Carvery was delicious. We had the beef and turkey, both were excellent, as were all of the vegetables, Yorkshire pud and gravy. We were looked after by Jordan and Emma who were both very attentive and made our two young daughters feel very welcome and comfortable, so much so they ate all of their dinner - including all of the vegetables! Will definitely be coming back again soon!
My family were really looking forward to the carvery after a stressful week and were very disappointed when we got there. The vegetables were burnt and looked like they had been there all day waited for 8 mins before chef arrived at counter only to be told they don’t put turkey on till 18.45 this was at 17.30. The meats available looked terrible plus we only eat turkey. Why were we not told about this when we booked? Will not be going back there again
First of all there was no cauliflower or broccoli? Fuming. The Yorkshire was rock hard and the mashed potato was lumpy. We had only just finished our food and the plate was taken away which was great. But not even a minute later the bill was put onto the table. We’d been there 20 minutes. Another five minutes pass and they were asking us how we wanted to pay. I hadn’t even finished my coke. We were basically kicked off the table after a total of around 30 minutes of being there, it wasn’t busy so not sure why that was the case. I’ve never been here before but that was enough to not want to go again.
Went along on Monday 15/1/24. First time at this site. Very polite hostess led us to table, and then Jordan took care of us from then. Very attentive, social, obliging. All round good egg. Will visit again .carvery option today.
Very accommodating to our group of 15 people. Special attention to those with dietary needs/allergies. Very friendly and helpful staff. Food was excellent, generous (although a little more meat from the carvery would have been nice) and served hot.
