Amazing service from the staff!! Amazing food! Never get let down … such a lovely place to go for food especially for family night outs.
We love this Toby Carvery! We actually travel 45 minutes to come to it. Food is always great. Staff are always friendly, and the place is always clean. Highly recommend!
Highly disappointed. Arrived on a pre booked table. Waitress had no idea what she was doing incorrectly took down our order and when we questioned tried to blame us and said we had never ordered the meal in question when we defiantly did. We were served stone cold food which needed to be returned and when was returned all be it hotter, the Mac and cheese was almost inedible and dry. Attempted the carvery but was lukewarm and veggies were dry and looked like they’d been sitting there for a long while. Come to asking for the bill we waited 10-15 minutes for someone to come, never did so we had to go up to the bar to pay. Lack of staff knowledge of the menu and unless you’re getting a carvery the food is SHOCKING.
NEVER AGAIN! just went from bad to worse, waitress didn’t have a clue what she was doing, tried to order kids chicken nuggets and she had to go of 3x to ask another member of staff about portions and sides.. a friend ordered mac and cheese.. food came out freezing cold, missing one child’s dinner.. had to be replaced but still didn’t bring out the missing child’s meal.. carvery was ok but not the best, wasn’t hot lukewarm. asked for the bill and it never arrived, had to go up to the bar to pay! won’t be going again!
We have had another wonderful breakfast with Santa and his lovely helper (raffle number 699) Food was delicious as always and the children adored spending time with Father Christmas. We come back year after year, and you never disappoint. I'm sure we'll be back for many roast dinners between now and next Christmas!
