Lovely meal for all my family. I am vegetarian and was given a larger plate to load with veg. Beautiful roast potatoes and my family had turkey and lamb and said it was very tasty. Main meal I would definitely score a 9 out of 10. Desserts not so much as I've had far better sticky toffee puds.
The place was clean, we got seated quickly, the waitress was lovely and made sure we knew what to do. Food was really nice except for the meat that day. Turkey was really watery and the beef was so fatty I had to leave it. Still enjoyed the rest of the food though

I like tobys carvary. Good breakfast and price. We went for breakfast. Asked the man what the options were he said breakfast. I asked him about coffee. His answer it's extra. He gave us cups. .we then realised we could've gotten a cappuccino, but was stuck with filter. Not a major issue, just attention to detail. He totally couldn't be bothered. Looked like a manager as he was sitting with a laptop. The chef refilling the food was throwing pots around while I was getting food. It startled the whole queue. He did it every time and had a face like thunder. Stocky Bald guy with beard. Breakfast was good. The girl collecting glasses was cheery. Pub looked nice. Toilets OK.
I haven't been here for years. It was a good lunch experience. The food was of a good quality. Staff are friendly and proactive in making sure you are happy eating and drinking in the venue. The price per plate is reasonable. The only issue is the 35 minute wait for food in the queue. If you have small kids, it will be a challenge to keep them entertained and motivated to stand that long with you. ..other than that. I recommend the place.
