Visited this little gem of a pub for a sneaky midweek roast and we were really impressed with the quality and the service. The manager, Donna, has a real infectious personality and clearly loves her job. Definitely recommend you visit although my belly is now groaning from how much I ate!! 🤣 See you again soon (once I've recovered)
I cant thank Alice enough for her fantastic customer service. I booked online then called the restaurant to request a quiet table as my son gets very overwhelmed with a busy environmental. Alice went above and beyond to ensure my son and our party were seated in a quiet table/ area and made sure on several occasions that every thing was okay. Alice you are amazing! We will definitely be returning
First time here & we were pleasantly surprised. We had a carvery & a dessert off the festive menu & with two alcoholic drinks for the two of us, it came to less than £40. The only criticism was the serving spoons for the carvery were too hot to handle, so you had to wrap a serviette around each of the spoons, to be able to handle them.
Went there for a Xmas catch up. Seemed organised and well prepared for us. The carvery was decent choices. Good meat choices including lamb and decent portion. And veg was decent. Dessert was OK (had an apple crumble) chocolate brownie looked very good. Good value at £14 for 2 courses. Seems to be a solid choice no frills but good value.
