Great value for money. Staff were really friendly. Good combination of different meats roasted. Quality is not great, but for £6.99 a place of meat it is great value for money. I'm not sure if I'll go back.
A very nice restaurant. My husband really enjoyed the carvery. He was impressed with how much he could pile onto his plate. He was also happy with the price, which he thought was very reasonable. I was worried that as a vegan there would be nothing for me to eat. I need not have worried. They had a vegan section on their menu, which I was delighted about. Everything sounded nice. I opted for a mushroom tart and salad. My meal was delicious and I thought it was a much nicer meal to have on a hot summer's evening. That said, the rest of the group were happy with their huge roast dinners.
It's your typical carvery. Although the service was great, our waitress was lovely and always made sure we were okay. The carvery looked great but I had one of the vegetarian options which was to die for. When I went it was with a group of friends and even though there was a lot of us they got us seated together. It wasn't anything special but it was a great night.
Went there with a group of 15 for a wake. They were able to accommodate us in a more private area, which was a little drab looking, but suited our purpose perfectly. It was at quiet time but meat and veg were pretty fresh. Vegetarians in the party were sufficiently impressed by the veg selection to give vegetarian options a miss and just go for the meat free carvery. Nobody was disappointed with their meal and i was pleasantly surprisedy the small bill. Staff pleasant and helpful. I would be happy to go back and would recommend it as an ideal option for a similar group, especially when you are unsure of numbers.
