Don’t go for Sunday lunch it was the worst one I have ever had. Everything seemed microwaved
Went for Sunday lunch it was completely inedible the beef was bleeding and wasn't cooked at all the yorkshire puddings were burnt. The landlady asked if we wanted to change our meet which we did to gammon and again it was served raw if l had eaten it l eould have very ill it was s complete health hazard needless yo say l will not be returning ever it was disgusting
Been taken over in the last year by louise and John . The pub is having a much needed up date but is still keeping the charm of the place . New beers on tap and food now up and running 😃 Theme night often for everyone to enjoy.
Bucolic, classic English country village setting, right on the village green with views of the surrounding hills of the Yorkshire Wolds. Extensive menu, good vegetarian options, best, lightly battered grilled halloumi I've ever had, excellent food all round, very friendly landlord & staff. Perfect summer afternoon lunch spot, just a bit of a drive to get there but through beautiful countryside
Excellent service, friendly staff, good selection of drinks and great atmosphere. Was lovely to sit outside in the warm weather and enjoy a pint of Moretti. Will definitely be returning. Highly recommend.
