What a gorgeous gem in the heart of Biddenham. The service and team were fantastic. We tried out the lunch menu. Looking at the menus they are small but perfectly balanced and they execute their dishes so well. My only recommendation to the team would be add some salad options for those in need of something a little less Gastro and more fresh. As an individual with some dietary considerations this would have helped. But I certainly won’t dwell because I left so food drunk from the most wonderful lunch. Hubby had the delicious three tun burger - popping the gherkin, onions and tomatoes on the side was a thoughtful consideration, meaning you could add / remove what you like and leave what you don’t fancy in the bun. I had the haddock and chunky chips etc. The batter was so light, so tasty that in my mind - it’s the best fish and chips I’ve had for some time! Pricing is reasonable for portions and quality. Parking was fine and plenty. Atmosphere lovely and everything felt clean and fresh. Genuinely recommend and will definitely be back! Thanks team!!
I’ve eaten here a few times now and find the food on par with a fine dinning experience for a pub restaurant. Great value steak night, generous portions and as a former chef I appreciate the quality ingredients used. We tried crab Thermidor as a starter on the new menu and I had the chicken supreme, the portion size was perfect and the taste was divine. No desserts but a few glasses of the quality wines on offer. I popped in for a planned lunch on a Friday with my family. We sat in the restaurant area and felt immediately at home. A lot of that was down to the wonderful and kind service we received from start to finish. The pub itself is well looked after, clean and tidy. The food was fresh and tasty, the menu has a decent amount of variety. I can see myself returning there again and look forward to trying other dishes on their menu. Thank you and keep up the great work!
Me and my husband popped in as we were waiting to collect someone in the area. We haven't visited before but what a beautiful pub. Gorgeous food very friendly and polite staff. They were also able to cater to my husband being gluten free and they are dog friendly! We have booked for a family dinner this Friday!

The Swan is a warm village pub serving wonderful pub food, with a wide range of ales and wines and fantastic service. We have two open fires which you can sit in front of whilst having one of our Fair Trade speciality teas or coffees.
