A great friendly and welcoming little local. No food, except for filled rolls on weekend lunchtimes. They brew two of their own beers, Benjamin Franklin, and Thumper.
Great little pub that I didn't know existed. Went to a friend's 50th last weekend and had a fantastic time! Hopefully be back here again in the near future.

Always well kept cask ales on. Friendly staff. Beer garden is a sun trap on a nice day. Great place to call into whilst out walking
I can't believe I've lived here for so long and have never visited this gem of a pub. Serving their own brewed beer in a fantastic traditional setting with numerous cosy rooms and regular live music - tonight's was excellent - superb venue.
