Gorgeous little campsite, with some glamping pods too. We stayed in our campervan for one £25 per night, you can have electric which is on a card that you top up. They have toilets and showers and all the services. The bar serves great food and there is free pool and lots of bar games etc. They are dog friendly and the staff and managers are very welcoming we had a lovely stay, didn't want to leave, but we have booked for christmas 😀 so we will be back
Fantastic campsite and pub set in a beautiful location and run by lovely people. Great to see a traditional pub still going strong brilliant food too. We will be back Thank you for making our stay pleasurable
Quiet locations with stunning surroundings. We stayed in the pod ‘Lily’ which was en-suite with shower toilet and also underfloor heating. Bed was extremely comfortable. At night you can go to the adjoining pub and enjoy some food and drink also. Highly recommend this site.
We stayed at this campsite, for 2 nights in a hired motor home, it was myself, my husband and our 2 dogs. We enjoyed our stay here all the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The other people staying there are also very respectful which was one of my main worries as I have a reactive dog I was worried about having children running round but everyone respects each others space and it really made the whole experience a whole less stressful. The area surrounding the campsite is beautiful, we enjoyed a trek around the fields and countryside coming from London we dont get to see much of the country side! So all in all it was a beautiful stay. We would do it again.
Visited the Three Horseshoes Pub for an evening meal during a recent stay in the area. Initially went for a mid-week drink and decided to come back for dinner on the Friday evening. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Between the four of us we ordered two types of pie, a burger and a pizza. Great quality, home cooked meals, well presented and the portions were very generous. The onsite camping area was fairly busy with new arrivals during our meal with staff delivering takeaway pizzas to guests. Rural location, with plenty of parking. Would recommend.
