Went for lunch today, the meal was average we had the offer of the small meal so received a small plate with a decent amount of food but no room to fit the vegetables, the sweet should have come with custard but couldn’t find any on the dish so had to ask for some. The most disappointing part was that the staff looked the most miserable bunch that I have ever had the misfortune to meet. They just did not want to be bothered.

We were impressed with everything about the Three Horseshoes; reception staff were very welcoming and helpful, the room was big and had a super king size bed, tea and coffee, chairs and dressing table. The large modern bathroom had a brilliant shower plus fixtures and fittings for use by disabled customers. Food and service in the restaurant were great, and the adjacent pub was sympathetically fitted out in keeping with the history of the place. The unexpected highlight though was our private garden with a hot tub bubbling away, gowns and towels were provided - we made full use of it; even going back out late in the evening - sub zero temperature, clear starry sky, discreet lighting hidden in the shrubbery and us sitting in a very warm hot tub with a glass of chilled prosecco. It doesn't get much better! Next morning we spent a pleasant few hours in the spa - outdoor jacuzzi, sauna, steam room, cold plunge and shower. There's also the beach hut, which involves lying on warm sand for 25 minutes, with the sound of waves lapping on the shore and lighting that mimics a full day from sunrise to sunset - a new and very relaxing experience for us. Highly recommended.

An excellent experience at this hotel for a Christmas party and one night stay. Lovely staff, brilliant food, clean and comfortable rooms. Cosy luxury is how I would describe the feel. Everything was perfect. The staff should be very proud of the amazing work they are doing here. Can't wait to find an excuse to go back!

Stunning location with beautiful views. We had a really warm welcome from the Spa team. The facilities were amazing- we loved the mud treatment, the steam room, the sauna, the jacuzzi and plunge pool. The steak we had foe our dinner was cooked to perfection. The room was spacious and clean with thoughtful touches (e.g. the lantern, matches and blanket). Only negative was the lack lustre service at breakfast, poor poached eggs and no one to ask for a replacement, as waitress was more interested in chatting away with the chefs.

Partook of a three course evening dinner with my wife. Wide selection of dishes to suit most tastes. Lovely food and well presented. Would recommend a visit. We also visited earlier in the year in a group of 10 for a Sunday lunch which was also very tasty.
