The Three Horseshoes is located in East Leake, a large village and civil parish in the Rushcliffe district of Nottinghamshire. Although its closest town and postal address is Loughborough across the border in Leicestershire.
The newly-refurbished pub and restaurant has resided for as long as anybody can remember, first known as The Smithy, before becoming The Three Horseshoes as we know it now. This is a friendly family orientated pub when visited for the first time you will want to come back for more. A recent investment has transformed the pub into a smart pub fit for any occasion from a cheeky after work pint to a Saturday night meal out with friends. The large car park to the rear allows for wheelchair access to the pub and the front area is perfect for people watching with a drink in the summertime. The whole pub boasts WiFi access.

Welcomed by lovely friendly staff, very varied menu. Did not have to wait long for piping hot food, and plenty of it. Managed to find room for a pudding. The Eton Mess was delicious. Everyone really enjoyed the meal and will definitely be back soon. I was amazed for the amount of food it was great value for money.
Visited on our way back from the Farm Park nearby. Ordered items from the grill as it was steak night. Very good prices considering it’s 2023. Food quality was good for what we’d paid. Kids meals were also a decent price and quantity too. Nice selection of drinks to choose from and nice and cool inside.
Welcomed by very kind polite and helpful staff. We Ordered our dinner and within 10-15 mins it was on the table. And well the portions was massive. The food was hot throughout and tasted delicious. 100% recommend and ill be going back.
First time visiting today and it will be our last… first impressions were that the place could do with a good clean. We were greeted by two big hand prints on the mirror as you walk in. We walked past the coffee machine which looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in months. We ordered two pints which cost £11.20! We sat down and noticed immediately the chairs were covered in crumbs and dog hair. The floor needed a good vacuum and mop. We went at lunch time, so there was no way it had been cleaned the night before / that morning. We were going to stop for lunch but the cleanliness put us off. We went to the toilet on the way out and they were just as bad. The toilet was dirty and stained, with the top coming away. The sink wasn’t even attached. Soap dispensers need replacing and make sure to go to the toilet in twos, you’ll need the other person to push the tap for you on the one sink the water actually works. Cleanliness is basics…
Had a good Sunday lunch. And was not expensive. Cant wait for the next one. I have just had a Christmas dinner, it was awesome and home cooked not out of a freezer. I wish I could give them another 5 stars.
