First visit since its refurbishment and it's a very nice looking place. Couple of very good Robbies cask ales. Extremely quiet when we were there which was a shame though we regularly see that it's busier earlier on so we get the impression that it's popular for meals. Hopefully it will pick up with custom in the evenings as well in the future.

First time we've been in since it's been done up,and it's lovely. It was very quiet. We got there around 9,but we've looked in on our way past previously, and it's always busy earlier in the evening, so the food must be good. Would recommend a visit.

Multiple items were mislabelled on the menu, one being ‘breaded prawns with tartar sauce’ which came as tempura battered prawns with chilli sauce (which wasn’t an option on the menu) and I have an intolerance to tempura batter which wasn’t ideal. We ordered the special which was a risotto, it tasted like salty rice pudding and wasn’t edible. Food was generally tasteless and greasy unfortunately. Really nice pub atmosphere and decor was really lovely and cosy x

I cannot recommend this place enough! I came in with my daughter's the other day, one of which has severe food allergies. The lady/s behind the bar and the chef were outstanding with their service. Not only did the chef cook exactly what we wanted, he went above and beyond to make sure there was no cross contamination, and even offered to help make future meals more appealing for my daughter, since her meals are very plain and basic. It's the first time in 11 years we have received such amazing service. The atmosphere was great, beautiful place and the prices are fantastic. My daughter was chuffed to bits with her meal, and our meals were gorgeous too. What a blessing to be able to take my daughter our for a meal with no worries. Thank you so much! We will be back soon! :)

Seven of us went to the Three Bears Saturday 7 March. Two had carveries the rest had other meals. We had to wait fifty minutes for our meals, they were very busy but it seems a long time. The meals were mainly good, but I had the fish which unfortunately was over cooked and dry. The two that had Carvery said the meals were very good but Yorkshire Pudding while very big was far too hard to cut or enjoy. When I went to the toilet I found that the seat had a blue residue on it. Looking above the seat there is a PHS machine on the wall and the liquid from it was trickling down towards the seat. The ladies in our party said their toilet was not clean.
