We are a traditional Freehouse located in the beautiful village of Thornton Curtis, North Lincolnshire. We are a Grade II listed building which dates back to the early 18th Century.
We Offer a wide selection of locally sourced home cooked foods (click below to see our menu), and a wide selection of beers, larger , wines, spirits, soft drinks and of course drinks that are suitable for children.

Set in a quiet location not too far from anywhere.Lovely greeting and got checked in. Shown to my room which was very comfortable with the usual things. Guide, TV kettle biccies coffee machine. Nice ensuite with shower, heated towel rail etc. The pub/ restaurant was cosy with a good selection of beers, wines, spirits and soft drinks. The menu was varied with a good selection of dishes.
Our second visit now . The food is excellent, and the staff and landlords are very welcoming. I'm so glad we have found this pub might have to make it our local .
Absolutely lovely country pub that does amazing food. If you fancy a weekend away somewhere out in the nature and peaceful atmosphere with character, this is the place. Not only that they tend to have live acts and the landlord is absolutely hilarious. Warm welcoming place. 5*
Absolutely gorgeous homemade Sunday lunch and plenty of it. The pub is clean warm and very welcoming. They have a pub dog called Shaun who is so cool. I’ve never met a well behaved dog. He’ll come and say hello if you say hello to him. He doesn’t beg or hang around your table. I really wish this was my local pub. It’s well worth the drive believe me!! They have a well stocked bar and the wine is beautiful. Highly recommend!
What an amazing time we had here...a real gem! Shaun, Rob, Dean and Rachel were so welcoming and couldnt do enough for us. The food was delicious and the people within our group with food allergies had a great menu choice. The rooms were beautiful and absolutely spotless with really comfortable beds. Thank you so much to the team for making our family wedding weekend even more special...we laughed from start to finish!
