An excellent Laine pub with a marvellous covered and heated area outside. Also notably wonderful, friendly and helpful service from the bar person. Great stuff.

@arissykitchen at @kemppub Seen great reviews about the Sunday Roast so had to check it out! • Beef and Turkey roast • Squash, cauliflower and almond filo Roasts were delicious with the exception of the Yorkshire pudding. Dessert • sticky toffee pudding solid 10/10, not a fan of the hazelnut ice cream •plum & blackberry crumble, custard. Could do with more crumble to fruit ratio but was yummy. Total spend: £73 for 3 people

This is a must visit if you’re in Brighton! The food is absolutely delicious. Would highly recommend the small plates in the photos below but everything we’ve ordered from the menu has always been incredible - crispy potatoes, asparagus with whipped feta and chilli oil and manouri cheese with babaganush and candied walnuts. So yummy! The roasts are also incredible… would definitely recommend booking a table. It’s a lovely setting with a nice beer garden, great atmosphere, amazing service and the prices are very reasonable too! Without a doubt my favourite spot in Brighton.

Great atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff and great food! The atmosphere in the kemp was warm and inviting. The staff were fantastic and very kindly allowed me change the potatoes to chips for my meal. The fish and chips was the best I've ever eaten out in a pub. The fish was delicately cooked, a lovely crispy flavourful batter and a great portion size. The chips were crispy on the outside and light and fluffy on the inside. The tartar sauce was also delicious, well balanced and a silky texture. The star of the show was the minty crushed peas, they were the best crushed/mushy peas I've ever tasted. The pints were also reasonably priced for Brighton. A fantastic pub, with great food and a nice atmosphere. I will definitely be returning.
