Thirst Oxford is your friendly local late night independent cocktail bar, situated on Park End Street in the heart of Oxford since 1999.
Split into four areas. The main bar as you enter has a huge selection of cocktails included in our famous Stupid Hour and an awesome range of spirits. Adjacent is the opulent chill out lounge available for bookings. We have a large heated outdoor terrace with plenty of comfy seating that also has its own bar and is covered to deal with the English weather. Back inside the dance floor regularly hosts DJ’s, so order those shots and get your dancing shoes on, it’s going be a late one. Click on bookings to reserve your space. Muskan was super she made my mock tails with no questions really happy to see as a designated driver the place is amazing and fantastic staff
Muskan was lovely and she paid a lot of attention to our orders and she is so lovely. She deserves a pay rise because she’s wonderful and the fact she always came regularly to ask for drinks was lovely!
Nice friendly smiley staff, small dance floor but considering it was a Saturday and at it's busiest it wasn't that bad.
The drinks taste nice and the atmosphere is good. However, don't expect them to give you a full glass, as apparently they only serve half your drink despite you forking over most of your wallet to pay for one. I asked the waiter to finish pouring the rest of my glass and he refused. Didn't want to start a commotion as I was enjoying myself with my friends and the bouncers gave the impression they'd start something if you said anything.
Excellent bar with great people to talk to. There are quite a few pubs and clubs in Oxford. These guys however actually know how to make an amazing cocktail and they're all very friendly. I went probably about 10 times and thoroughly enjoyed the place every night of the week. From customers to staff, everyone was very nice. I highly recommend!
