Always a good pint in Thirst Edition 😁 This is the best place in town, if not, The Cotswolds, for a fresh pint of top class beer! Pop in on a Wednesday for 'Pork Pie Club'! Thursday night is quiz night! Check in on Friday night for live music! Took my wife for her first pint in Thirst Edition today, looks like she enjoyed it. Thankfully the kids weren't with us, as Dave has "no child" policy, which is great for drinking. Make sure you pop in and support a great publican.
Wow what can I say! What a lovely pub, the landlord is very welcoming and makes you feel right at home as do the locals. A fantastic selection of beer and cider in a relaxing atmosphere, this really is an absolute go to place.
Superb little micropub with a wonderfully friendly, and helpful, landlord. Four hand pull ales on and a good range of ciders, plus gins etc. Being spoilt for choice the landlord, Dave, gave me a sample of each beer. A really friendly place which is well worth a visit.
My husband loves this place. It's a great micropub that always has great beers, ciders and gins on offer. The place is very welcoming and Dave the landlord is always happy for me to try out beers and help me choose the right one 😀 Turns out, Wednesday night is now the 'Pork Pie Club'!!!!!
This little place is a hidden gem! The only place open on a Sunday afternoon so we popped in to have a drink and kill time while we waited for our dinner reservation. The bar owner is a lovely guy, very friendly and really knows his stuff! The place was constantly busy. Known for his ales and ciders but he had a great selection of wines, gins and other spirits. He helpfully gave us tasters of a few different drinks to try before we bought. I asked for a G&T and he had a great recommendation for one I hadn't tried before with a new Italian tonic water. It was amazing! Had some nuts, nibbles and pretzels for the table. Was just a delightful late afternoon chatting away to all the regulars.
