Lively, two-roomed roadside pub, with a good base of local clientele creating a bustling atmosphere. Small beer garden at the rear, with a heated area for smokers
Live entertainment is provided on Friday evenings. The pub comprises a bustling bar to the front and a large lounge to the rear, plus a beer garden with terrific views. Meet Ginger, the pub's cat, who moved in one day a few years ago and has never left.
Really like the boozer. Bar has a pool table, darts and big screen TVs showing sport. New landlord is very welcoming and always a few good regulars in. Plus cheaper than everywhere else in penkhull 👍
Nice pint nice people great service and great for watching sports
Great pub, food packs the punch and isn't your normal pub grub. Real value for money! Will be back 🔥
Newley taken over. Great staff, good pint :-) an even better burgers @BANDANA BURGERS. Proper home made beef patties and the best cooked chips about. Massive portions 🐷🐷🍻
Thanks so much for your hospitality after the pub we should of been going to was forced to close because of covid. For the wake of my wife's Grandmother, even put on chips with bread and butter lovely touch thank you so much.

The site the Greyhound sits on was originally built as a Yeoman's House in 1540. It became a Manorial Court House with its own cells in 1558. It was extended in 1704 to what you see today.
