Popped in for lunch. Friendly enough and nice beef sandwich. The special of continental cold meats and alleged home made bread was a meagre amount and a sad supermarket offering. Disappointed
Just absolutely wonderful great lady behind the bar helped us out greatly shall be going back for sure a wonderful little gem in the heart of Devon. Great for a few nights camping couldn't say a bad word about it at all just fabulous 😀 thank you for being our hero.
Really enjoyed our visit to the Teign House Inn. The front of house was being looked after by two young guys, two of the friendliest and most positive members of staff I’ve seen in a long time and nothing was too much trouble. The food was excellent - great fish and chips and a fish curry, and excellent local ale topped it off. Will definitely both recommend and visit again. Thank you.
If you're planning on passing, DON'T!!! Make sure that you park up and go in for some food. We had a Sunday roast that was plentiful and tasted great, but the desserts were fantastic!!!! Every one we had was homemade and beautifully presented. Our choice was Sticky Toffee pudding, a couple of Ice Cream Sandwiches and Chocolate Pot. All three were really really good and most likely the best I've ever tasted. Make sure that you visit. 😋😋
What's not to like... Decent local pint of ale, and freshly cooked food. Particularly a fan of a Thai fish and their Masaman curry was delicious, piping hot and large in size. The muscles starter was great too. Car parking outside and traditional pub atmosphere and decoration inside. Great evening had by all!!!
