The food could have been better, it lacked taste. I would recommend it, and will be back, I've been here before and enjoyed it, maybe today was an off day
This is a gorgeous little pub with a nice local feel. The prices are very reasonable and the atmosphere is lovely, the staff and the very friendly regulars really contribute to its very homely feel. I've spent many afternoons here catching up with friends and grabbing drinks. The feeling of authenticity is very strong and feels very refreshing when compared to the many chain pubs and their modern feel.
Traditional two bar community establishment with a lovely feature woodburner, however unfortunately no real ale to speak of. On the plus side the resident Ginger cat was friendly and looked extremely well fed!
Visited for dinner with a friend, the kitchen was closed so we had beer for tea. Nice, clean lines and fresh beer. It has a real 'local' feel, friendly staff getting all set up for halloween. Dog friendly, has a pool table and darts. Really great atmosphere, and I look forward to my next trip to Poole so I can visit again.
Awesome local pub. Wayne and Theresa are great hosts! Really enjoyed our visit and food was very nice!
