Good hearty pub meal with friendly welcoming service. The fish and chips we had was well fried with a nice crispiness to the batter. The burgers were substantial with double patties and came with tasty fries. Enjoyable meal in a lovely atmosphere - would recommend!
A lovely pub in a country location. Offering a good Garden area with a selection of seating. The cheese soufflé was excellent with the cheese soufflé nestling in a tangy cheese sauce. Fish & chips, were very well presented and the hake was firm and tasty in its tempura batter. The minted smashed peas were scrummy.
Very hospitable and friendly. The Red Fox double cooked cheese soufflé is to die for and my daughter's burger was delicious, she told me. Hot, perfectly cooked chips with hers too...! Pretty marquee and lights. We'll definitely be back!

Lovely pub. Good food. Very friendly / cozy welcome. Filled with locals (good sign!). I went when passing by on a Wednesday night and still busy! Great service and lovely people! Plus dog friendly! & A lovely log burner! A lovely friendly village feeling.
