The inside was very nice and homely the atmosphere was very lovely and very welcoming And the food is 10/10
One of the best Sunday lunches iv had ! Plenty nice meat , really good selection of fresh veg , home made Yorkshire pudding & mash/ roasted potatoes. Will definitely be back ( thankyou chef it was yummy ) 😋
Lovely old pub/restaurant. A bit quiet tonight, but it was only 5pm. My son and myself ordered the Special Fish and Chip meal, the fish was absolutely gorgeous, not sure whether the chips were made from scrap, but they were ok. Peas, mushy peas, what can you say. Other son had the minted lamb pie with mash and peas. He said it was awesome. Will definitely go again.
We had lunch at Take a Gander today - there is a good choice on the main menu and some lunch time lighter items, but we settled for our favourite fish and chips, with chocolate brownie, and Elton mess for afters! It was all delicious!!!
Take a Gander is an absolute must. The food was amazing. Three courses for £20 the quality was fantastic. Service was great. The manageress couldn' do enough for us . If you don't go anywhere else Take a Gander is a MUST . You won't be disappointed. Well done to you all who work there 🙏🙏
