From the moment we entered Tafarn Y Deri in Llanedi, it was evident that we were in for a treat. Nestled in a lovely rural village, this charming pub exudes a warm and welcoming atmosphere, making it a worthy destination for both locals and visitors. The staff, with their genuine friendliness and attentive service, instantly made us feel at home. As for the food, it was very good. Whether you're craving a hearty meal or a light bite, the menu caters to all tastes, leaving your taste buds thoroughly satisfied. A relaxed, cosy environment that makes Tafarn Y Deri a must-visit. A true gem in the Welsh countryside, highly recommended for a delightful dining experience.
Amazing venue and such a friendly owner with some brilliant staff. We held our Daughters Birthday Party in the function area and the food, service and area was all 5 star! Thank you for helping us celebrate!
I haven't been to tavern y deri for years prior. Brought back some nice memories. Food was lovely although when we went there was a lack of food on the menu that was available. My son wanted the beef lasagne there wasn't any so he had the vegetable instead, about 3 or 4 other main meals weren't available. As we were there for a birthday we thought we would order a desert which was limited to about 4 deserts the one family member wanted was unavailable in which she couldn't eat anything else there. Apart from that great service.
Delicious food and great service. We took the children and the owner came out with a box of toys which helped keep them entertained whilst we ate.Plenty of parking right outside. The takeaway Sunday lunch is also the best we've had!
Picked up our first carvery today and it was amazing. Compliments to the chef as everything was cooked to perfection. The amount of meat you get was incredible and it fell apart when you tried to cut it. I would highly recommend this place and can't wait to try it again. Xx
