Ta Bouche first opened its doors to the public in November 2004 and has since gone on to establish itself as one of the most popular venues in Cambridge.
During the daytimes you’ll find a relaxed café atmosphere serving barista coffees. At lunch choose from a selection of classic sandwiches, snacks and salads. In the evening Ta Bouche transforms into a lively venue with an upbeat playlist and an extensive drinks offering. See our blackboard for daily chef specials.
Ta Bouche is famous for its cocktails. We have an extensive list but if nothing tickles your fancy, have a chat with a bartender and they will craft a drink just for you. As well as cocktails Ta Bouche has a great wine & Champagne list.
Children are very welcome during the day provided they are accompanied by an adult. High chairs are available.

Popped in for a quick drink before a dinner reservation. It wasn't too busy, but it took an age as there was only 1 person serving, and their cocktails are quite time-consuming to create. A second person did start serving, eventually, but ignored the first server telling him who was next and worked on drinks for the people he had been sitting with rather than the people who had been waiting. When I did get served, my drink was excellent. The music was incredibly loud, so we sat as far from the speakers as possible, we ended up welcoming strangers to sit with us who were trying to do exactly the same. It was so loud I couldn't actually hear the person behind the bar when he asked questions or told me the price. It was only 5:30pm, so absolutely unnecessary to be that loud - fine for later when the place is packed, but two thirds empty in the early evening ruined any atmosphere.
Searched whilst in Cambridge for this bar , as it stated Happy hour on cocktails 2 4 1 Saturday 4 -7 , we found the bar sat down went to order to be informed that they had changed it and no happy hour .
The cocktails are reeeeally good and I like the bar tenders: no big show, but hey, they live the party. The Sunday all-day happy hour is a good thing.
Loved the vegan pop up here! The vegan milkshake was AMAZING and so were the onion rings. The vegan burgers were very fairly priced. There is definitely more of a bar vibe to Ta Bouche than a restaurant vibe, so I’d recommend coming here for a quick lunch or date night!
Went here to try the Vegan Vice food - SO GOOD. Neither of us are vegans but both loved the vegan burgers! Excellent food 😋
